The SOAR Story

Founded in 2018, Specialists in OCD & Anxiety Recovery (SOAR) was established to provide comprehensive, evidence-based treatment for individuals struggling with OCD, anxiety disorders, and related psychological conditions. Located in Richardson, TX, and serving the greater Dallas-Ft. Worth area, SOAR is committed to offering both in-person and telehealth services to clients across Texas (and throughout the United States via PSYPACT).

At SOAR, our vision is to empower individuals to overcome their mental health challenges and reclaim their lives by delivering the highest standard of care through personalized, compassionate, and effective treatment. We believe in offering tailored solutions that meet clients where they are—whether in their homes, workplaces, schools, or community settings.

SOAR was founded by Molly Martinez, PhD, a licensed clinical psychologist with over 15 years of experience specializing in the treatment of OCD and anxiety. Dr. Martinez's passion for improving access to quality care drives her work as both a clinician and educator. Through her leadership, SOAR is dedicated to fostering a supportive community for clients and professionals alike, collaborating with other specialists to ensure the best possible outcomes for those we serve.

At SOAR, we integrate therapeutic modalities supported by scientific research, including Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT). These evidence-based treatments are designed to meet the unique needs of each individual, offering a path to recovery and long-term wellness.

“"I think it might help to focus on small steps and small victories and try not to think of the end of the road because quite honestly, the end of the road never comes when it comes to achieving goals. There’s always another step that you’re going to add. So let’s just focus on the step you’re on now."
